11-2014-Réseaux-5.2         11-2014-Réseaux-5.1        11-2014-Réseaux-5.3          On 21 November 2014 Brussels International is organising an information session on European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) in view of the first calls for proposals for ETC projects for the 2014-2020 programming period, to be launched in 2015.   The Brussels-Capital Region is a partner in several ETC programmes. The morning information session is an opportunity to bring together Brussels stakeholders around the opportunities provided by Interreg Europe, Interreg VB Northwest Europe and Urbact III. The session will also review the 2007-2013 ETC programming period in Brussels. Several Brussels project owners will share their experiences. The representatives of the various programmes will present the novelties, the strategic directions and the intervention methods. The ETC programmes are funded by the ERDF (the European Regional Development Fund) and are aimed at providing a platform for the exchange of best practices, knowledge transfer, the funding of pilot projects and the search for solutions to common problems in cities and regions. From 2007 until 2013 they contributed to the implementation of projects in terms of urban mobility, nutrition, sustainable building, and even local governance to the tune of almost 18 million euros in Brussels.   Practical details: 21/11 – 9 a.m. – Brussels Info Place (BIP), Zinneke room. Participants will be served a light lunch. Register to participate : by mail to vdussart@sprb.irisnet.be or call +32 800 37 13.
