Washington DC launches its cultural diplomacy

The Government of the District of Columbia (DC) has established a cultural exchange programme with its sister cities. Based on the concept of cultural diplomacy, the Sister cities international arts grant will fund grants to support American artists wishing to deploy their talents in the partner cities of the DC. The selection procedure is currently ongoing. A director has expressed the wish to stage a performance in our region, which means Brussels is also included in the project. The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities has invited the artist to submit a full application, which will be evaluated in the coming weeks.
