Artificial intelligence: are regions up to the challenge?
On 30 November 2017, the Assembly of European Regions (AER) will host a conference on artificial intelligence and machine learning which is evolving at a furious pace.
Artificial intelligence is the “science and technology of making machines do things that would require intelligence if done by men”. This innovative technology has led to recent breakthroughs in machine learning techniques, computational power and systems design by adopting more human-like performance. All these developments will have a substantial impact on our economies and societies. But are regions up to the many challenges of this new revolution? The AER aims to reply to this question during an interactive conference, at which regions can share experiences, organised with Brussels International and Innoviris.
30 November 2017, BIP Brussels, 2-4 Rue Royale, 1000 Brussels
