His Excellency Félix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, visits Brussels
From 16 until 19 September, Belgium received His Excellency Félix Tshisekedi, the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo. During this official four-day visit, the Congolese president also had an opportunity to meet with the authorities of the Brussels-Capital Region.
During his recent official visit to Belgium, President Tshisekedi met with Rudi Vervoort, the Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region, and Pascal Smet, the Brussels State Secretary for European and International Relations.
The purpose of this exchange was to consolidate the collaboration between the Brussels-Capital Region and the DRC. Both parties affirmed their clear commitment to renew and even strengthen the economic and cultural ties between the two capital cities.
