The Chinese partners of the Brussels-Capital Region lend a helping hand

The Chinese partners of the Brussels-Capital Region (BCR) are assisting the region in the fight against COVID-19 by sending protective equipment.

Sichuan Province, with which the BCR signed a cooperation agreement 25 years ago this year, has sent 20,000 surgical masks to Brussels carers, while the City of Xi’an has shipped 30,000 masks to the BCR.

As soon as the federal authorities give the green light, these masks will be distributed in Brussels by Iriscare, the regional institution for social protection.

The BCR wishes to thank its Chinese partners for their support during this health crisis.
