Meta-Morphosis represents Brussels in Havana

On the occasion of the 13th Havana Biennial, which ran from 12 April to 12 May 2019, the non-profit organisation Meta-Morphosis put Cuban heritage and Brussels talent in the spotlight. The project, titled ‘Man-Machine-Work’, gave many visitors an opportunity to discover the inextricable link between an artist and his tools in the photos of a talented Brussels photographer.

Brussels’ participation in one of the most prestigious artistic events in Latin America and the Caribbean was facilitated by the partnership agreement between the Brussels-Capital Region and Havana. This agreement, which was signed 20 years ago, helped establish close ties between the two partners, in art, heritage and culture.
